We are a small Arkansas-based, family-owned and operated business specializing in handcrafted products, creative materials, and DIY kits. Many of our products are made in our own home or right here in the shop. We also carry a selection of products made by our family, friends, and favorite small businesses. The mission of The Hartzell Homestead is to promote creative and spiritual growth through our products and services.

Our cozy log cabin shop is located at 7605 Market Street, Dover, AR. It features a mercantile retail area, rooms filled with over 1500 bolts of beautiful quilter’s cotton fabric, and a small creative space for classes/workshops, DIY projects, and Bible Journaling fellowship. We offer a variety of paintable barn quilt projects that can be completed in the shop or in your own creative space at home. Our workshop offerings can be found on our workshop page. Our normal weekly hours are Thursday & Friday 10:00 – 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Any holiday/vacation/inclement weather changes to these hours are posted on our social media outlets (which can also be viewed here on our website HOME pgae in the right panel)
